Betsy Bodker is the Vice President of Human Resources (HR) for the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). Ms. Bodker is responsible for the people and culture strategy and execution for NICB with the goal of attracting, developing, and retaining industry leading talent. She oversees all facets of HR, including total rewards, recruiting, performance management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, employee relations, learning and development, and HR policy development.

Prior to joining NICB, Ms. Bodker was the Director and Strategic HR Business Partner at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL)/Health Care Service Corporation, where she provided leadership, consultation, and strategic partnership in the delivery of HR services to the Chief Financial Officer and the 1,400 employees of the Finance Division. Prior to BCBSIL, she held national and global leadership positions at Kraft Foods, BorgWarner, Inc., and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where she specialized in organizational effectiveness and talent management. In this capacity, she designed, developed, and executed organizational systems, processes, and tools in performance management, succession planning, employee engagement surveys, change management, and leadership development. Earlier in her career, she built her HR expertise in the real estate, advertising, and financial services industries.

Ms. Bodker has earned numerous HR certifications, including Development Dimensions International (DDI) Facilitation Skills, Lominger Leadership Architect and VOICES, Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument, PROSCI Change Management, Center for Creative Leadership Certificate in Coaching, and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business Strategic Decision Making.

Ms. Bodker received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago.
