On 03/04/2024, NICB Special Agent was contacted by the Indianapolis Metro Police Department and requested to provided assistance at the scene of a search warrant involving a suspected chop shop in Indianapolis, IN. As a result of the assistance provided to law enforcement, six stolen vehicles and one piece of specialized construction rental equipment were identified as stolen. The stolen vehicles and specialized construction equipment were recovered by law enforcement, with a combined estimate total recovery value of $327,000. Additionally, one individual was arrested by law enforcement on the charge of Auto Theft and Corrupt Business Influence.
