ISATT received information of a possible chop shop in Illinois. ISATT reached out to an NICB Agent, who conducted research on motors and catalytic converters. Located on the property were 13 stolen vehicles, and 35 catalytic converters with a value of around 232,800. Most of the vehicles were cut in half. The co-owners were arrested and charged with alleged Aggravated possession of stolen motor vehicles and failure to maintain Documentary Evidence.
