NICB and Western States Auto Theft Investigators (WSATI) recently awarded members of the San Diego Regional Auto Theft Taskforce (RATT) with the “2023 Gary Gray Award for Excellence in Vehicle Theft Investigations” following the successful conclusion of “Operation Sunrise”, which positively impacted NICB member companies and the San Diego Community.
NICB is a member of RATT. Gary Gray served as an NICB special agent for more than ten years and was one of the founders of the WSATI Northern California Chapter, which partnered with NICB to institute the Gary Gray Award after Gary passed away in 2003. Any member or team aligned with any WSATI chapter is eligible to receive the award.
