Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force Arrest Four after Investigation

MONTGOMERY, TX – On January 18, 2022, the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force (ATTF) was notified that Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were working three Theft of a Motor Vehicle cases in the Bentwater subdivision in Montgomery, Texas.
The investigation led the Montgomery County ATTF into Harris County, and with assistance from the Harris County Auto Theft Task Force, four suspects were subsequently arrested, and the stolen vehicles were recovered. The value of the three vehicles was $109,000. The investigation also uncovered the suspects were involved in identity theft incidents.
The suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where they were charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. One suspect was also charged with Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information.
