NICB Agents in New Jersey and Pennsylvania attend National Night Out Events
On August 2, 2022, NICB agents in New Jersey and Pennsylvania joined their communities to celebrate National Night Out. Hosted every year on the first Tuesday in August, this organized event promotes law enforcement and community partnerships, stronger relationships as well as bringing citizens together to reinforce unity to make neighborhoods a safer place to reside.
NICB contributed to the National Night Out events by providing literature handouts on a myriad of topics including the Hotline number, Vehicle Theft, Disaster Fraud and Staged Accidents. Agents explained NICB’s mission and how it impacts law enforcement, community members and the insurance industry.
SSA Greg Wolfe and SA Dave Dailey joined the Monroe Township Police, EMS, and Fire Department at their event where approximately 600 citizens joined in the festivities. The NICB agents spoke to community members about the impact of insurance fraud and how it can be prevented.
SrSA Joy Marconi joined the Middlesex Police Department at Mountain View Park in Hillsborough, NJ. Their event included a food drive, distribution of educational materials from the NICB and networking with the Middlesex Office of Emergency Management, Middlesex Fire Department and Fire Marshall and the Middlesex Prosecutor’s Office. SrSA Marconi also had the pleasure of speaking to community members who recognized NICB from the response after Hurricane Ida.
Additionally in New Jersey, Special Agents Jon Rumpf and Mike Doran attended the National Night Out event in Washington Township. There were approximately 2000 people in attendance at this event where the NICB distributed insurance fraud prevention literature and company mementos.
In Pennsylvania NICB Special Agents Shawn Conrad and Matthew Sciabica joined the South Whitehall Police Department at this annual community building campaign. The event was supported by Law enforcement, Fire and EMS personnel, various branches of the armed Forces as well as other community service organizations like the NICB.
