On March 18, 2022, Lexington County Sheriff's Office and adjoining Pelion Police Department held a free trailer stamping event for local citizens.  Residents were encouraged through Facebook and local media to have their personal trailers stamped with an owner applied number. Fifty (50) trailers were stamped during the four-hour event. Lexington County Sheriff's Office also downloaded the owner information and description of the trailers into a county database for future reference of reported thefts.  NICB Special Agent Walt Woloszczuk was onsite to assist with the event.
