Fifty-six Special Agents from the NCDOI Criminal Investigations Division attended training in Carolina Beach, NC 

In collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Insurance the NICB conducted a two-day Advanced Fraud Investigations Academy. The training was presented to 56 Special Agents from the NCDOI Criminal Investigations Division in Carolina Beach, NC. 

Teams from NICB’s Learning & Development, Operations, and Intelligence departments presented on insurance fraud related topics including arson, vehicle theft and the rise in catalytic converter thefts. 

The success of this inaugural event has facilitated planning of similar events throughout North Carolina.
