The Maryland Insurance Administration presented an overview of their department and investigating insurance fraud.

The NICB Washington, DC Major Medical Fraud Task Force organized and held a Medical Fraud Intelligence and Training Forum on April 26, 2024, at the Howard County Maryland Public Safety Training Center. The Howard County Maryland State’s Attorney's Office presented training on prosecuting insurance fraud. Dr. Robert King presented indicators and elements of fraudulent medical billing and procedures.
