Texas man sentenced to prison for scheme to fraudulently bill health insurance of local residents

AUGUSTA (WJBF) – A Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for organizing a scheme that paid workers to solicit elderly and low-income residents for information used to fraudulently bill government medical programs.
39-year old Patrick Siado of Houston, TX, was sentenced to 51 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $50,075 in restitution after pleading guilty to one count of Conspiracy.
After completion of his prison sentence, Siado must serve three years of supervised release.
