WA Marble Contractor Fined $300K

In an Insurance Journal article, it was reported that the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries cited and fined A+ Marble & Granite LLC nearly $300,000 for exposing workers to crystalline silica dust from cutting, grinding, and polishing stone countertop. They were cited in July after inspectors reportedly found the company had done little to fix safety problems it had already been cited for in April of 2022.
