Bel Air man charged in connection with scamming 2 seniors, sheriff says
BEL AIR, Md. —
A man was charged with scamming two seniors out of money for home improvement repairs and there may be more victims, investigators said.
David Desell, 33, of Bel Air, faces 12 counts on allegations he falsely represented himself as a home improvement contractor, online records show.
An investigation into Desell started when an adult child of a victim contacted the sheriff's office because they thought their mother was being taken advantage of.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office said it wants people to look out for Desell, who authorities said has been in the area soliciting work. If anyone sees him, the sheriff's office wants to know about it.
