SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Shreveport-Caddo Financial Crimes Task Force is asking for public assistance in locating Hayden Rutledge.

Rutledge is wanted in connection with a residential contractor fraud investigation.

The investigation began after detectives were notified about work Rutledge had been contracted to complete at a Shreveport property beginning in February 2026.

Rutledge was reportedly hired to repair a walkway and deck area and accepted payment for the job.

Through further investigation, detectives learned that Rutledge had not obtained the required permits and was not properly licensed as a contractor.

On July 8, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Rutledge. He is accused of one count of residential contractor fraud.

Detectives are working to locate Rutledge and are warning the public of possible fraudulent activity connected to him.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or who believes they were a victim of similar criminal activity can contact the Shreveport Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
