Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications

Chris Stroisch serves as the Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). In this role, he oversees all facets of public affairs, media relations, issues management, marketing, and member and employee communications. His team serves as the insurance industry's national voice on insurance fraud and crime, educating insurance carriers, law enforcement agencies, trade associations, and the public on the latest trending fraud and crime schemes. 

Prior to joining NICB, Mr. Stroisch served as the Director, External Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at CNA Insurance in Chicago. In this role, he led media relations, crisis management, investor communications, and corporate social responsibility efforts for the global commercial insurance carrier. Prior to CNA, he led media relations and crisis communications as the Public Relations Manager at COUNTRY Financial. He also served as Director, Public Relations and Writing Services, leading internal and external communications for Horace Mann Insurance.

Mr. Stroisch serves as the Immediate Past President of the Insurers Public Relations Council (IPRC), having previously served as President, Vice President, and Secretary. He has also served on the Public Affairs Task Force for the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) and on the Communications Committees for the Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) and Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS).

Mr. Stroisch achieved a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Illinois State University.
